Activities: Hikes, parties, salsa, festivals

👉🏽
We know that people are all different and have varying hobbies. Here, we provide a guide to different activities you can enjoy by yourself. Please note that we mainly recommend things to do in Medellín, Bogotá, and the coast.

Which music and where to party 🪩

In Colombia, two of the strongest music genres are Techno and Reggaeton. You can find both kinds of parties in the major cities.

Medellín is known for producing big Reggaeton artists like Jbalvin, Maluma, and Karol G. We're sure you've heard of them 😉 So if you are in Medellín be sure you don’t miss this kind of party. We recommend you

  • Perro Negro: It's a basement that is known to have big artists singing on random days.
  • Bolivar: Crossover/reggaeton music.
  • Vintrash: More international with 2 ambiances for reggaeton and electronic music.

In Bogotá, we recommend you:

  • Kaputt club: It’s located in Chapinero, east of Bogota. It boasts four dance floors, an arcade room, and an outdoor space with an old vintage car and graffiti-lined walls. The club features everything related to electronic music, from techno to house and dancehall from the ‘80s.
  • Theatron: It’s located in an old theater and has 13 different areas or scenes. Theatron has been described as the largest gay-themed club night in Latin America and one of the biggest in the world.
